- The bank account verification service receives name, account number and sort code and responds with yes or no depending on whether the account exists and name matches, or not. The risking API receives bank sort code and account number and responds with a risk score and reason for the score. The outcome API allows the outcome of any investigation/decisions by the OGD to be sent back to HMRC to be fed into future risking i.e. case reference ID, outcome status and reasons.
