- Information sharing between the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and energy suppliers to enable the automatic provision of a Warm Home Discount on energy bills for eligible citizens.
- Disclosed information
- DWP will share a list of postcodes relating to postal areas inhabited by potentially eligible recipients of a Warm Home Discount (WHD). Participating energy suppliers will return names; addresses; unique identifiers and meter point administration numbers relating to consumers living in the postcode areas disclosed by DWP. DWP will return unique identifiers to enable the energy supplier to credit the WHD to their eligible consumers.
